a stitch in time

Say goodbye to fast fashion and throwaway clothes! Special but easy-to-pick-up stitching techniques, such as visible mending, sashiko, North American smocking, can bring a refreshing look to your pre-loved garments. The process is so therapeutic that it slows down your hectic work pace as well.

Fashion Clinic

Founded by Kay Wong and Toby Crispy, veterans in the fashion industry, Fashion Clinic believes that it is time to “cure” excessive consumption and reinvent fashion with a tastefully mindful attitude. It promotes service over products, which creatively extends the lifespan of clothing.

To explore the potential of a sustainable model for the fashion industry in local context, Fashion Clinic  has been in collaboration with various commercial brands, singers and theatre houses. Previously it took a step forward and organised “Future Fashion Lab”, the one-of-a-kind sustainable fashion festival in Hong Kong that serves as an interactive platform for practitioners across the globe to engage in deeper exchange.
